Abstrakty

W ekonomii głównego nurtu stosunkowo niewiele poświęca się miejsca analizie zjawiska gapowicza w porównaniu do teorii gier i ekonomii eksperymentalnej. Brak jest również syntetycznego ujęcia tego problemu w dwóch ostatnich działach. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie złożoności problemu gapowicza przez syntetyczne ujęcie osiągnięć teorii gier i ekonomii eksperymentalnej w analizie zjawiska gapowicza. Przedstawione tutaj zostały między innymi wyniki badań eksperymentalnych dotyczących kooperacji w sytuacjach gry typu dylemat więźnia czy dobra publiczne oraz ich porównanie do przewidywań teorii gier. Synteza ta może stanowić również wyznacznik oraz wprowadzenie do dalszych kierunków badań nad determinantami zjawiska gapowicza.(abstrakt oryginalny)

In the mainstream economics relatively little space is given to the analysis of the free-rider phenomenon in comparison with the game theory and experimental economics. Also synthetic presentation of this problem is absent from the last two areas. This article aims at showing the complexity of the free-rider problem through synthetic presentation of achievements of game theory and experimental economics in the analysis of the free-rider phenomenon. Among others the results of experimental research on cooperation in games of the prisoner's dilemma or the public goods types and their comparison with predictions of game theory have been presented in this study. The synthesis may also become a determinant and introduction to further research on the determinants of the free -rider phenomenon(original abstract)
