Abstrakty

W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono możliwości wykorzystania technologii ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) w transporcie pasażerskim, że szczególnym uwzględnieniem analizy przenoszalności (transferability) rozwiązań stosowanych w określonym miejscu i danych uwarunkowaniach. W artykule skupiono się głównie na rozwiązaniach sprzyjających integracji transportu. Artykuł powstał w oparciu o wyniki projektu COMPASS, realizowanego w 7 Ramowym Programie Badawczym UE. The paper deals with the problem of ICT solutions in passenger transport. Modern passenger transport is more and more based on ICTs which help to optimize transport use, allow for more efficient transport planning and reduce travel times. They also contribute to the principles of green transport and sustainability. Currently ICTs are still fragmented and offer mostly local - tailored to the specific needs solutions. The paper describes the available types of ICT solutions which could be used for this purpose. The challenge for the future transport system is to merge ICT solution into one efficient tool. This could be achieved by transfer of successful solutions. Therefore the issue of transferability is researched in depth within this paper. Firstly transferability dimensions and framework describing tools allowing for analysis of transferability potential of particular solutions is developed. Than based on case studies analysis and stakeholder opinions the main factors influencing transferability are determined and evaluated against practical cases. As a result set of most important transferability barriers is presented. The research within this paper is based on original work of the authors conducted within COMPASS project. (original abstract)
