Abstrakty

Celem artykułu jest omówienie współczesnych uwarunkowań rozwoju gospodarki światowej, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem zależności pomiędzy wybranymi typami bliskości a współpracą i integracją w wymiarze przestrzennym w świetle oddziaływania wiedzy, informacji i innowacji. We współczesnej gospodarce obok dystansu geograficznego (fizycznego) dużą rolę odgrywa dystans organizacyjno-instytucjonalny, który decyduje o potencjale w zakresie generowania wiedzy oraz tworzenia i absorpcji innowacji.(abstrakt oryginalny)

The purpose of this article is to discuss the present conditions of world economic development, with particular emphasis on the relationships between selected types of proximity, as well as cooperation and integration in the spatial dimension, in light of the impact of this knowledge, information and innovation. In the modern economy, next to the geographical (physical) distance, an important role is played by organizational and institutional distance, which determines the potential for the generation of the knowledge, as well as the creation and the absorption of the innovation.(original abstract)
