Abstrakty
(fragment tekstu)
The aim of this paper is to show the impact of competition on innovation. Section 1 provides theoretical background and summarizes results from other studies on the aforementioned relation. Section 2 presents the integrated PMR as a measurement of competition. The next section examines relation between the integrated PMR and research and development and triadic patent families. The results suggest that low market pressure has a disincentive effect on innovations. (original abstract)
