Abstrakty

Powyższe rozważania w syntetyczny sposób przedstawiają istotę, założenia oraz mechanizm funkcjonowania elastycznego łańcucha dostaw. W rzeczywistości spotkać można wiele organizacji, które z powodzeniem operują wedle zasad elastycznego łańcucha dostaw. Jako przykład mogą służyć Hewlett-Packard, Wal-Mart, Dell i inne. Pamiętać należy, że powstanie i funkcjonowanie elastycznego łańcucha dostaw jest zdeterminowane określonymi przesłankami i czynnikami. Przesłanki uzasadniają konieczność powstania elastycznego łańcucha dostaw na konkretnym rynku, w określonej branży, natomiast czynniki umożliwiają rzeczywiste ukonstytuowanie tej formy organizacji. Poznanie warunków i czynników kształtowania elastycznych łańcuchów dostaw powinno być podstawą do wytyczenia możliwych kierunków przyszłych badań nad problematyką koncepcji elastycznego łańcucha dostaw.
