Disclosure of insurance information is to provide the real insight into the risk profile, as well as financial condition and liquidity. Hence, actors with a particular interest in this information are the policyholder and the insured, and supervisors. Information disclosure of insurance includes: report on the solvency and financial condition, directed both to policyholders and the regulator, but with different information content, information for policyholders, the scope and specifics of the insurance contract. The aim of this paper is to present the scope of disclosure of information intended for policyholders and for the supervisory authority, as well as to assess the impact of these obligations on insurance companies and the insurance market.
