The number of presented mathematical models of general age-specific fertility rates was intentionally limited. The author ha? the intention to present the method of successful fitting of the Coale-Trussel function to the Hungarian general age-specific fertility rates after discussing his programs and results with the authors of this function. He hopes that the persons who created this elegant and original function may give him many useful comments and advices. In the case of an other important group of models which were fitted by the author in collaboration with his excellent colleagues at the Emory University,. Professor S.Mitra, R.Clarke andrD.Jones (Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A.), the presentation will be possible after a common discussion and publication of the methods and results. In the case of a third important group, of models, which are actually fitted by the author in collaboration with his excellent colleague: Professor J.H. Pollard (Macquarie.University,, Australia), the presentation of methods and results will be possible also only later.(fragment of text)
