Leadership is critical for building employee engagement. New role of leader is to link challenges of contemporary economy, customers' needs and behaviors of the organization. This paper explores the conceptual model of connected leadership. The connected leader is focused on building employee engagement through trust, meaning and dialogue. (original abstract)
