Abstrakty
Effective communication with customers is one of the key factors of success in contemporary markets. The goal of the paper is to present the process of establishment, maintenance and development of communication with customers in Polish railway companies. This process is hindered by very complicated relationships between different companies, duplication of their activities, instability of transport offer and lack of any long-term strategy. The paper presents many examples which support the belief that Polish railway companies are making mistakes in the field of communication with their customers and that they are not using the potential of such activities.(original abstract)
