Abstrakty

18 września 1992 roku prezydent Bush przedstawił w kongresie pełny tekst umowy ustanawiający Północnoamerykańską Strefę Wolnego Handl. Proces tworzenia tego ugrupowania integracyjnego rozpoczął się jednak już kilka lat wcześniej. Rok wcześniej 1 stycznia 1989 r., weszła w życie umowa dwustronna między Kanadą i Stanami Zjednoczonymi, otwierająca nowe możliwości inwestycyjne i zacieśniająca dotychczasowe stosunki gospodarcze. Pięć lat później została ona zastąpiona umowa ustanawiającą NAFTA.(fragment tekstu)
