Wartość wykładów gościnnych dla studentów zarządzania - niektóre aspekty

Abstrakty

Internacjonalizacja studiów, zwłaszcza w obszarze Unii Europejskiej od wielu już lat jest faktem. O ile jednak do niedawna oznaczała ona głównie wyjazdy studentów do uczelni zagranicznych, aby zdobyć doświadczenie innych kultur, pogłębić znajomość języków czy uzyskać dostęp do uznanych ośrodków akademickich, to dzisiaj zaczyna oznaczać coś zupełnie odwrotnego. Problemy z rekrutacją studentów na wyjazdy zagraniczne poszerzają się na wiele krajów: północy i południa Europy, jej wschodu i zachodu, a zgłaszają je jednostki odpowiedzialne za współpracę międzynarodową. Nie siląc się na diagnozę tego problemu, dostrzec trzeba jego lustrzane odbicie: przyjazdy visiting professors. Zdają się one dla studentów mieć wszelkie walory internacjonalizacji studiów, bez takich wad, jak: wysokie koszty pobytu oraz konieczność opuszczenia własnego, lokalnego środowiska. Dlatego warto jest przybliżyć to zjawisko z perspektywy więzi międzyorganizacyjnych, także w kontekście aktualnych doświadczeń

Visiting lectures are of growing interest to both students and universities involved in international pedagogy. Twinned with raising concerns about students mobility this option may become strategic. This paper investigates the rationale, assesment and interest to students of visiting professor interventions. On interorganizational relationship literature grounds it argues, that the visiting professor provides internationalization at home. Further it provides insights into detailed advantages for both the host institution and the visiting professor. (original abstract)
