This article presents the issue of philosophical methodology and the notion of logic as inquiry into inquiry. It concentrates on the way how these issues where treated in philosophies of two of the most prominent figures of classical pragmatism - Charles Sanders Peirce (1839-1914) and John Dewey (1859-1952).(fragment of text)
