Celem niniejszego opracowania jest ocena wzrostu znaczenia Chin w gospodarce światowej na podstawie: udziału w światowym produkcie i produkcji wybranych dóbr przemysłowych, udziału w światowym handlu oraz roli Chin w światowych zagranicznych inwestycjach bezpośrednich. (fragment tekstu)

The author of this paper examined increasing importance of China in the World Economy, and provides an overview of same of the aspects of China's growth. China's transformation and its integration into the global economy have been most spectacular during recent decades. China's trade have grown faster than world trade for more than 20 years. In 2003 China ranks as the forth largest exporters and third importers. China opened its economy to foreign direct investment, and China is not just a direction for a FDI, but it is also an increasing source of FDI. In 2003 FDI in China grown to 53,5 billions of dollars, and Chinese outward FDI stock in 2003 grown to 37 billions of dollars. (original abstract)
