Abstrakty
Niejednokrotnie zwraca się uwagę na nadzwyczajną różnorodność związków zawodowych, na różnice w liczebności członków, stopniu zorganizowania, formie organizacyjnej, na różnice w stosunkach z pracodawcami, w zachowaniach strajkowych, w stosunku do partii politycznych i organów państwa. Różnice w działaniach i strukturze związków zawodowych pozostają naturalnie w związku ze zróżnicowaniem politycznego i społecznego środowiska, przejawiają się one nie tylko w teraźniejszości, lecz także w przeszłości. To znaczy, różnice te są między innymi uwarunkowane przez historię.
Considerations presented in the article deal with the dependency between organizational form, numerousness, inclination to undertake strike actions on the part of Trade Unions and social and political systems in the countries, in which they exist. Great Britain, Germany and the United States were taken into account. It was intended to reveal both - common attributes and differences in the appearance of the dependency under discussion. Great Britain was the first country in which labourers joined to form Trade Unions. English associations were used later as a model in both - Europe and the United States, however organizational forms of the Onions which emerged were different. Similarities and differences demand interpretation. It is easier to produce one in the case of the facts from the past, like the higher degree of organization of workers in England than in Germany before 1914, Genesis of the present differentiation in this respect is more complex. It was possible to present very briefly the selected aspects of the dependency under study. (original abstract)
