Abstrakty

W niniejszym artykule omówiono badania zjawisk demograficznych w makroregionie południowo-wschodnim. Przedstawiono zagadnienia ludnościowe dokonane dla pięcioletniego okresu 1975-1979.

The article presents a statistical analysis of demographic changes in the South-Eastern macroregion. It includes a description of the changes concerning population growth and its spatial diversification and of major components of population growth: natality and migration. Apart from that the author has presented a description of the changes in population distribution including here urban development process as well as population structure according to sex, age and employment. It results from the analysis that: population growth in South-Eastern region is only slightly higher than the average in Poland because of a much higher natality, natality decreases although at a slower rate than in Poland taken as a whole, the macroregion is of emigration nature nevertheless the outflow of population also decreases, absolute decrease of population occurs in the countryside in half of the macroregion's voivodships, urbanization process which is not very fast causes that the macroregion is not much urbanized, as regards the structure of population according to sex the participation of males has increased but women still enjoy a slight numerical superiority, as regards agre structure the South-Eastern macroregion is an area of "demographic youth", increase in the employment in the state-owned sector was much higher than a national average.
