Abstrakty

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie funkcjonowania żeglugi morskiej bliskiego zasięgu na Bałtyku w kontekście dokonanej rewizji sieci TEN-T. Niektóre projekty bezpośrednio odnoszą się do RMB. Można przewidywać, że ich realizacja wpłynie na wielkości przewozów oraz na układ ciągów transportowych na Bałtyku. Polski rynek żeglugi promowej jest częścią bałtyckiego rynku SSS, stąd szczególną uwagę zwrócono na te projekty, które bezpośrednio mogą mieć wpływ na polskie serwisy. Metodologię badań oparto na analizie danych statystycznych oraz nowych dokumentów KE dotyczących koncepcji sieci TEN-T.(fragment tekstu)

The foreign trade of BSR countries is characterized by mutual connections and indicates the most Baltic states are trading with their neighbours. Shipping is the main mode of transport in the region used for transportation of cargo. Trade connections between Baltic states have a great influence on transport flows in the region. Short Sea Shipping on the Baltic consist of two main segments. Container market is the first one. It includes ocean, feeder and short sea shipping container traffic. Container shipping in BSR handles mainly extra-Baltic trades. The other depends on ro-ro technology and is composed of pure ro-ro and ferry shipping. This segment of maritime transport is the base for handling the intra-trades on the Baltic Sea. Short Sea Shipping is an important part of intermodal chains. In September 2011 the European Commission accepted guidelines of new core network within TEN-T project to transform the existing transport system into the unified transport network. It will remove bottlenecks, upgrade infrastructure and stream.in. cross border transport operations for passengers and cargo. Some projects are related directly to maritime transport in BSR, ex Helsinki - Tallinn ferry service is plan to upgrade to Motorway of the Sea or sea port network. The aim of the article is to analyze the influence of the new core network on ferry shipping in the BSR. Polish ferry market is an important part of European transport system. The guidelines will entailed the ferry links from Polish ports, ex Baltic - Adriatic Corridor.(author's abstract)
