Celem referatu jest przedstawienie metody obliczania przepustowości dróg wodnych za pomocą programu komputerowego. Program pozwala na obliczanie kosztów całkowitych transportu towarów masowych przewożonych w systemie łamanym przy użyciu kolei i żeglugi śródlądowej.(fragment tekstu)

The article is a description of a method of supporting the organization of broken cargo transportation, taking into account transportation by rail and waterway. The Department of Modeling of Hydraulic Machinery and Equipment and Inland Vessels of Wroclaw University of Technology, developed a computing program for the method. It allows for planning transportation of bulk goods and estimating of their costs. The paper contains a description of this computer program. Shows how to calculate the direct costs for both transport modes, external costs of inland transport and the probability of desired hydrotechnical conditions (adequate depth of the waterway by the time required to complete the transport process). A key part of the paper is to present a method of calculating the capacity of the different sections of the waterway. These calculations clearly show the large reserves of inland waterway transport. This means that even without correcting the parameters of waterways, one can easily increase the traffic on the Polish waterways. Knowledge of capacity of the waterway sections and the probability of needed depth on the trail, is the basis for long term planning of the maximum transport capacity of individual segments. For this reason the program is intended for use by shipowners and shippers using the inland waterways.(author's abstract)
