Współczesne rozumienie pojęcia geopolityki i pojęć pochodnych

Abstrakty

Geopolityka i związane z nią kategorie używane są w ostatnich kilkunastu latach zarówno w światowej, jak i w polskiej nauce o stosunkach międzynarodowych coraz częściej. Można nawet powiedzieć, że korzystanie z nich stało się swojego rodzaju modą. W konsekwencji weszły one do języka tej nauki i stosowane są obok istniejącej do tej pory siatki pojęciowej. Brak określenia wzajemnych relacji i zależności między nimi powoduje jednak chaos pojęciowy, szkodzący obrazowi współczesnej nauki o stosunkach międzynarodowych. Dla realizacji tych postulatów powinniśmy przede wszystkim objaśnić genezę, ewolucję, przyczyny odrodzenia się oraz rozumienie geopolityki. (fragment tekstu)
