This study examines communication fundamentals of propaganda. Using meta-analytical method shows that propaganda is one of the main forms of persuasive communication. Propaganda as persuasion of the ability to express an opinion appears in the 20th Century as consequence of the formation of nations and urban concentrations and of the appearance of a new technique, which lead to spreading the prints, the word and the image. Contemporary propaganda is characterised by improving the old types of propaganda and the emergence of new types. (original abstract)
