The article deals with an update approach to using multimedia technology in teaching English for Specific Purposes. The m-learning principles and techniques to teach English for Specific Purposes are distinguished and defined. The designed tasks in the PowerPoint and the Panaboard book are shown. Advantages and disadvantages of their use are discussed. The outcomes of m- learning techniques application in teaching English to non-linguistic major higher school students are described. Ways of implementing these tasks that will help clarify the appropriate use of multimedia by English teachers are suggested. The impact of m-learning on the paradigm and content shift in education is determined. (original abstract)
