In present economic and social reality the use of various types of monitoring has become a permanent element of activity for both public and private institutions. For more and more significance is being put on the protection of information and control of access to resources of these entities. It must be indicated in the very beginning that a single type of monitoring cannot be distinguished, since it may differ both in the type of data recorded (i.e. video-surveillance, closed-circuit television or audio-visual monitoring) and the place of installation of the recording device (external or internal monitoring).
