Znaczenie sektora usług dla rozwoju gospodarczego Indii

Abstrakty

Obserwując przemiany ekonomiczne w gospodarce światowej, widzimy wszechstronnie wzrastającą rolę sektora usług. Badania nad wzrostem gospodarczym wskazują na systematyczne zwiększanie się udziału usług w tworzeniu produktu krajowego brutto. Obecnie sfera usług przyczynia się do powstania ponad dwóch trzecich produktu światowego. Wzrost znaczenia sektora tercjarnego w wytwarzaniu PKB jest obserwowany od ponad trzydziestu lat we wszystkich grupach krajów, przy czym największe tempo wzrostu zostało odnotowane w państwach o najwyższym dochodzie. W tym samym kierunku podąża struktura PKB w państwach o średnim dochodzie. W państwach najbiedniejszych występuje dość równomierny wkład przemysłu i usług w tworzenie PKB, z jednoczesną tendencją do rozwoju tych sektorów kosztem rolnictwa. W krajach najuboższych usługi wytwarzają ponad 40% PKB, w krajach o średnim dochodzie udział usług w dochodzie narodowym wynosi już ponad 50%. W państwach wysoko rozwiniętych 70-75% PKB powstaje w sektorze usługowym. W ogólną tendencję do wzrostu udziału usług w dochodzie narodowym wpisują się również Indie. W tym kraju obserwuje się wzrost udziału trzeciego sektora w zatrudnieniu oraz wymianie handlowej. Indie zajmują ponadto czołowe miejsca w rankingach dotyczących delokalizacji działalności usługowej.
