Abstrakty

W niniejszym artykule zaprezentowano analizę przyczyn przekształcania się krajów rozwijających się z eksporterów żywności i innych surowców rolnych w ich importowaniu.

The aim of the paper is to present the decrease in the participation of developing countries in the world export of agricultural products accompanied by the increase in the interest in imports. This tendency, strongly marked in the seventies and the eighties, leads to the change in the part of the third World countries in the international division of labour. Considering the interests of the developing countries, the transformation from the exporters to the importers of food is not a favourable phenomenon. The author attempts to present the causes of these tendencies being the effects of both the domestic policy of the developing countries and the phenomena occurring in the world economy.
