Abstrakty

W niniejszym artykule przybliżono proces kształtowania się i umacniania japońsko-amerykańskiego sojuszu militarnego.

Some prerequisites and aspects of the consolidation of the military alliance between Japan and the U.S.A. in the years 1976-1986 are presented. Discussing the problem, the author attempts at presenting new, theoretical prerequisites of the consolidation of this alliance. First of all, these are the doctrines of the "national interests" and the "integrated national security guarantee'.' which composed the ideological and theoretical bases of foreign policy of Japan at that time. Then, beside the bases of the development of military relations between Japan and the U.S.A., the role of "Japanese Self-Defence Forces" being the main point, the author discusses other prerequisites and aspects of the consolidation of these relations, including joint military training, defence of lane-routes within a radius of 1000 nautical miles from Japan, blockade of the Straits of Soyi, Tsugaru and Tsushimy, and so on. Finally, the stability of the tendency toward militarization of Japan has been stressed. (original abstract)
