Abstrakty

Dotychczasowe konflikty na Bliskim Wschodzie powstawały na tle historycznym, kulturowym, stanowiąc polityczne bariery utrudniające współpracę i uniemożliwiając zagraniczną dyplomację. Kraje tego rejonu w niedługim czasie będą musiały stoczyć walkę o zasoby wody. Trudno jednoznacznie stwierdzić, jak te walki będą wyglądać, lecz na pewno do nich dojdzie. Rosnąca rola wody i jej umiejętne wykorzystanie zmuszają do podjęcia działań na szczeblu regionalnym. Taka integracja wpłynęłaby bezpośrednio na ogólną poprawę relacji gospodarczych, gdyż obecne powiązania są wynikiem nacisków ze strony organizacji międzynarodowych. (abstrakt oryginalny)

In the Middle East conflicts have been based on history and psychological background. They made mutual cooperation harder. Current situation in the region heads for the conflict over water. It is difficult to predict how the conflict is going to look like, but it will appear for sure. The growing role of water and its efficient usage make the Middle East countries commence actions on the regional level. Such an integration would directly influence the general improvement of economic relations because nowadays these connections are the result of pressure put by international organizations.
