Abstrakty

W połowie czerwca 2013 r. nakładem Anthem Press, niezależnego brytyjskiego wydawnictwa naukowego, ukazała się książka pt. The Entrepreneurial State (Przedsiębiorcze państwo), autorstwa Mariany Mazzucato. Punktem wyjścia dla Mariany Mazzucatto jest cytat z artykułu pt. The Third Industrial Revolution opublikowanego w kwietniu 2012 r. w renomowanym brytyjskim tygodniku "The Economist". M. Mazzucato w swojej pracy dowodzi, że przypisywanie wszystkich zasług w rozwoju technologicznym sektorowi prywatnemu jest nie tylko błędne, ale przede wszystkim niezgodne z prawdą. Rola przedsiębiorczego państwa nie ograniczała się i nie powinna ograniczać się w przyszłości w opinii M. Mazzucato do finansowania wyłącznie badań naukowych. Państwo powinno wspierać tworzenie poszczególnych przedsiębiorstw, a także całych branż. Praca M. Mazzucato nie jest pozbawiona pewnych drobnych niedociągnięć. (fragment tekstu)
