Artykuł prezentuje znaczenie Sektora Małych i Średnich Przedsiębiorstw w Finlandii na przestrzeni lat na podstawie przeglądu literatury. przedstawiono wyniki tego sektora (jego profil SBA - Small Business Act) na tle innych krajów Unii Europejskiej. W dalszej części artykułu uwagę poświęcono wpływowi kryzysu na MŚP w Finlandii. W opracowaniu poruszono również zagadnienia związane z innowacyjnością w tym sektorze. (abstrakt oryginalny)

The aim of the article is to present the importance of SME sector in Finland over the last several years. The performance of the sector is featured (SBA profile - Small Business Act) in comparison to other European Union countries. Moreover, the impact of the crisis on Finnish SME sector is described, as well as the issues of innovativeness. (original abstract)
