An important function of any system of forecasting the labour demand is to provide its users with the information they need to make rational decisions, in particular in order to programme actions within labour market policy. In the era of the Information Society forecasting systems usually take the form of on-line information systems available in a real time. An example of such a system is www.prognozowaniezatrudnienia.pl Portal containing forecasting tool. The tool enables visualization of forecasts results, namely the number of employed in Poland by 2020 in selected dimensions. The article describes the main features of the forecasting tool in the context of its use by different stakeholders on the labour market. (original abstract)
