Badania marketingowe pomagają wyeliminować te pomysły na nowe produkty, które nie spełniają określonych kryteriów. Badania te należy dobrze przygotować, by uniknąć błędów. Następnie ustala się kryteria selekcji pomysłów oraz procedurę tej selekcji. Osobne metody znalazły zastosowanie podczas selekcji wstępnej i zasadniczej. Na koniec stosuje się metody podsumowujące(abstrakt autora)
Marketing research is useful in the screening of those new product ideas which do not fulfill specified criteria. The research should be prepared correctly in order to avoid any errors. Subsequently one should choose the proper criteria and procedures of the ideas screening. The selection of new product ideas occurs in three stages. To each of them different methods should be applied. For instance the initial, basic and final stages of the selection are governed by different methods of product selection(author's abstract)
