Celem, jaki stawia sobie autor niniejszego artykułu, jest ocena dostępu małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw wiodących branż regionu kujawsko-pomorskiego do informacji o nowych technologiach oraz identyfikacja źródeł, z których przedsiębiorstwa te pozyskiwały i zamierzają pozyskiwać wiedzę o nowych technologiach(fragment tekstu)

The access to existing new technological solutions as well as the nature of their sources are important elements influencing enterprise's innovation level. The research findings presented in the paper aim at verification this hypothesis on the example of SMEs representing leading industries in kujawsko-pomorskie region. According to these findings, companies don't face serious difficulties in getting to the sources of the information about new technologies. But while analyzing the structure of these sources, it is visible that SMEs are quite passive and rather not creative in the process of obtaining new knowledge. Unfortunately such situation doesn't herald any significant change in the level of innovation and competitiveness of studied region(author's abstract)
