W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono wybrane formy propagowania szeroko rozumianej turystyki wiejskiej, traktowanej jako czynnik aktywizacji społecznej, ekonomicznej i kulturowej, a także wskazano warunki pełnego wykorzystania możliwości obszarów wiejskich w jej funkcjonowaniu.(fragment tekstu)

On the territory of the Green Lungs of Poland exist tremendous potentials for the growth of rural tourism / e.g. social, economical, ecological and ethnical facilities). However, they have not been fully exploited. In the article there were introduced the most crucial factors for improving this situation. As the most important factors were pointed acceleration in development of rural areas by the means of tourism as well as social, cultural and economical activation. The importance of growth in tourism was analyzed also from marketing perspective. In cultural domain as the most vital factors were mentioned: tradition, building, folk art, songs, costumes and slang - as the elements fi nely distinguishing cultural heritage. In the conclusion the author stressed the importance and necessity of examining potential tourist abilities on the areas of GLP. As the most important task there should be precisely described such things as: the quality of nature and ethnic features and specifi c needs in the domain of rural tourism. Nowadays and in the future these factors will create a rich offer of the northern-east region of Poland.(original abstract)
