Abstrakty

Artykuł zawiera charakterystykę struktury obszarowej indywidualnych gospodarstw rolnych oraz wybranych struktur społeczno-ekonomicznych ludności zamieszkałej w tych gospodarstwach w latach 2005-2007 w skali kraju oraz w podziale według województw. Skoncentrowano się na charakterystyce struktur zatrudnienia, zwłaszcza według takich cech, jak: miejsce i charakter wykonywanej pracy (w podziale na pracujących wyłącznie w gospodarstwie rolnym, głównie w gospodarstwie, głównie poza gospodarstwem i wyłącznie poza gospodarstwem), wiek, płeć i poziom wykształcenia pracujących oraz czas pracy w gospodarstwie rolnym. W ostatnim przypadku chodziło głównie o określenie skali niepełnego zatrudnienia w gospodarstwie. Poza zatrudnieniem przedmiotem analizy była struktura gospodarstw rolnych według głównego źródła dochodów gospodarstwa domowego. W analizie przyczyn regionalnego zróżnicowania badanych struktur skoncentrowano się na czynnikach różnicujących skalę niepełnego zatrudnienia w gospodarstwie. Zbadano rolę takich czynników jak: stopień rozdrobnienia gospodarstw, intensywność produkcji rolnej i wiek użytkownika gospodarstwa rolnego. (abstrakt oryginalny)

The paper analyzes selected socio-economic structures of population living on private farms in Poland with special reference to regional differences. The analysis is based on the results of Farm Structure Surveys conducted by the Central Statistical Office in 2005 and 2007. It is focused on employment structures, particularly on the structure of the employed by main occupation (employed exclusively on their farm, mainly on the farm and mainly off the farm), by sex, age and educational characteristics and by time worked on the farm. The employment analysis is preceded by a short characteristic of the farms structure by area groups and by main source of household's income. The analysis has shown that the regional differences of almost all structures analyzed are very sharp, and that one of the most important factors behind them are differences in the farm-size structure. In particular, in regions with prevalence of small farms the share of off-farm workers among all persons employed and the share of part-time workers among people working exclusively on their farm are much higher than in regions with prevalence of larger farms. Both types of regions differ also substantially with regard to the age composition of employed exclusively on the farm: it is much "older" in the first type that in the second one. On the other hand, the differences in the level of education are rather moderate with exception of the rate of persons having college-university education which is evidently higher in regions with prevalence of larger farms.
