Abstrakty

Działalność badawczo-rozwojowa (B+R) oznacza "systematycznie prowadzone prace twórcze, podjęte dla zwiększenia zasobu wiedzy, w tym wiedzy o człowieku, kulturze i społeczeństwie, jak również dla znalezienia nowych zastosowań dla tej wiedzy"1. Obejmuje ona badania podstawowe, stosowane i prace rozwojowe. Badania podstawowe to poszukiwania teoretyczne i prace eksperymentalne, nie ukierunkowane na osiągnięcie bezpośrednich zastosowań w praktyce. Badania stosowane służą zdobyciu nowej wiedzy w celu uzyskania konkretnych rozwiązań użytecznych. Prace rozwojowe polegają na zastosowaniu znanej już wiedzy do opracowania nowych lub ulepszonych wyrobów, procesów i usług. (fragment tekstu)

The paper presents research and development activity of the enterprise. The activity is treated as the tool to deepen the knowledge used on various fields. The paper deals with the basic and practical researches as well as with developmental ones. The basic rates of research and development activity of enterprise belonging to the domain, for the years 2001 to 2006 have been presented. There also has been described the dependence of the expenditure on researches and development activity in relation to GDP (Gross Domestic Product) and to GDP per capita as well as to the employment level. The fact that the government budget is the basic source of financing research and development activity has been pointed out.. Moreover, the level and structure of the own and outside expenditures has been presented, taking into consideration current and capital expenditure of the enterprise conducting the above activity. The level and structure of employment in research and development activity considering the sector of enterprises for the years 2006-2007 has been described. The own expenditures and employment in the research and development activity of the enterprise with foreign and domestic capital have been characterised. During the analysis of expenditures value in each enterprise, the superiority of expenditures in the enterprises with foreign capital has been noticed. (original abstract)
