Abstrakty

Celem artykułu było przedstawienie, w jaki sposób działania na rzecz ochrony środowiska, podejmowane przez organizacje zarejestrowane w systemie EMAS, mogą przyczynić się do rozwoju tych organizacji poprzez wdrażanie innowacji, jak również wykorzystanie faktu prowadzonej działalności środowiskowej do poprawy wizerunku, poprawy relacji z interesariuszami oraz umocnienia pozycji na rynku. W artykule zaprezentowano wyniki badań własnych, dotyczących polskich organizacji zarejestrowanych w systemie EMAS. Istotą stosowanej metody badawczej była analiza źródeł wtórnych w postaci deklaracji środowiskowych. Badanie miało charakter pełny, analizie poddano deklaracje środowiskowe wszystkich organizacji aktualnie zarejestrowanych w systemie EMAS w Polsce.(abstrakt oryginalny)

The aim of this article is to describe how the efforts to protect the environment, undertaken by organizations registered under EMAS, may contribute to the development of these organizations through the implementation of innovations, as well as exploiting the fact of environmental activity to improve the image, improved relations with stakeholders and strengthening position in the market. The article presents the results of research concerning Polish organization, registered under EMAS, which highlighted the strategic importance of environmental protection in their environmental statements. The essence of the research method used was the analysis of environmental statements. The article presents the analysis of environmental statements of all organizations currently registered under EMAS in Poland. The article shows that the majority of Polish organizations, registered under EMAS in Poland, treats activities related to environmental protection as the strategic factor. These organizations take into account issues related to environmental protection in the formulation of the vision, mission, or when determining the strategic objectives and strategic directions of the organization.(original abstract)
