Abstrakty

Celem artykułu jest wskazanie najważniejszych aspektów rozwoju rynku funduszy inwestycyjnych regionu Azji i Pacyfiku. W nadchodzących dziesięcioleciach region Azji i Pacyfiku będzie potrzebował sprawnego i skutecznego rynku funduszy inwestycyjnych, którego zadaniem będzie wsparcie wyzwań emerytalnych związanych z szybkim starzeniem się społeczeństwa w regionie. Asia Region Funds Passport, podobnie jak jednolity paszport w UE, może zapewnić inwestorom dostęp do nowych rynków, bardziej efektywną dywersyfikację inwestycji, a także wspieranie rozwoju i płynności regionalnych rynków finansowych. Na potrzeby artykułu przeanalizowano najnowsze raporty i badania opublikowane przez PriceWaterhouseCoopers, East - West Centre oraz Międzynarodowy Fundusz Walutowy. (abstrakt oryginalny)

The purpose of this article is to present the most important aspects of developing investment funds industry of the Asia-Pacific region. In the coming decades, the Asia-Pacific region will need an efficient and effective funds management industry to support the pension challenges associated with a rapidly ageing population. An Asia Region Funds Passport, similar to the simple passport in the EU, will provide investors with access to new markets and diversification in a more efficient manner and a lower cost, while also supporting the growth and liquidity of regional capital markets. Reports and research published by institutions such as PriceWaterhouseCoopers, East - West Centre and International Monetary Fund were used for this analysis. (original abstract)
