Institute for mutual recognition of decisions is an expression of trust between the states in a way that it prohibits the review of the already recognized decision in this case, or prohibiting the procedure of any legal remedy against the original decision. Recognizing court can´t change this decision neither can free convicted. Recognition and execution of foreign judgments are considered as part of international judicial cooperation in criminal cases. This cooperation follows via Institute not only more efficient punishing offenders, but also more efficiently the purpose of punishment its impact on offender and his positive motivation (language environment, considerations for family of the offender, different ways of imprisonment, any possible alternative sentences, etc.).
