Abstrakty

W artykule przedstawiono problematykę naukowej legitymizacji obszaru systemów informacyjnych zarządzania (SIZ). Przede wszystkim omówiono dwie konkurujące koncepcje: teorię artefaktu informatycznego oraz podejście interdyscyplinarne. Przedstawiając argumenty na rzecz drugiego podejścia, dokonano doprecyzowania pojęcia interdyscyplinarności oraz zaprezentowano interdyscyplinarny, koncepcyjny model obszaru SIZ. Przedstawiony model ma służyć zwiększeniu stopnia interdyscyplinarności badań, aby w konsekwencji doprowadzić do zwiększenia stopnia naukowej legitymizacji obszaru SIZ.(abstrakt oryginalny)

The paper discusses the problem of scientific legitimization of the field of management information systems (MIS). In particular, the two competing concepts of legitimization were presented: the IT artefact theory and interdisciplinary approach. Presenting the arguments for the second approach, the concept of interdisciplinarity was carefully defined and interdisciplinary conceptual model of MIS described. The presented model is to increase the degree of interdisciplinarity of research, and in consequence increase the scientific legitimization of the field of MIS.(original abstract)
