Abstrakty

EN

It is important to note that the objectives and the instruments of family policies in a given State depend on demographic and socio-economic processes as well as on the cultural background. There is a number of factors influencing the shape of family policy, in particular: ageing of society, the level of professional activity of women, changes in the structure of family and the need for an efficient work-life balance. In the context of a deep demographic crisis and threats it poses it seems necessary to undertake action in the area of social policy. Family policy should be placed among the most important tasks set for the State. Creating the optimum conditions for starting the family and its functioning should be considered a priority.
