Abstrakty

Celem artykułu jest ukazanie zmian rozwoju społeczno-gospodarczego i jakości rządzenia oraz analiza występujących między nimi związków w 28 krajach UE w latach 2004-2012. Wykorzystując analizę kwartylową wskaźników Human Development Index oraz Worldwide Governance Indicators, przeprowadzono ocenę rozwoju i jakości rządzenia. Ich związek ukazano, wykorzystując analizę regresji. Wykazano dużą zmienność i pogorszenie się poziomu rozwoju społeczno-gospodarczego w badanych krajach oraz znaczący wpływ jakości rządzenia na ten rozwój.(abstrakt oryginalny)

The aim of this article is to show the changes of socio-economic development and the governance quality as well as the analysis of relations between them in 28 EU countries during the 2004-2012 period. Using quartile analysis of Human Development Index and the Worldwide Governance Indicators, the development and the governance quality were evaluated. To show their relation, the regression analysis was used. High volatility and deterioration in the level of socio-economic development in the analysed countries and a significant impact of the governance quality on their development were shown.(original abstract)
