Elementem kompetencji organizacji są kompetencje menedżerskie. Dzięki kompetencjom menedżerów wiedza organizacji jest implementowana do praktycznych procedur jej działania. Jednakże kompetencje menedżerskie będąc strukturą dynamiczną ulegają ciągłym zmianom, rozwojowi, a w sytuacji kiedy nie są używane i doskonalone - dezaktualizacji, powodując zakłócenia w funkcjonowaniu organizacji. Celem artykułu jest dokonanie przeglądu teorii tworzących tzw. perspektywę kompetencyjną (competence-based perspective). Teorie te wyjaśniają rolę kompetencji w uzyskaniu przewagi konkurencyjnej przez przedsiębiorstwa. Przyczyniają się także do poznania istoty kompetencji organizacji i kompetencji menedżerskich, wyjaśniają relacje między wymienionymi kategoriami oraz umożliwiają zrozumieć złożoność problemów zarządzania kompetencjami. Dla realizacji celu w artykule przedstawiono relacje pomiędzy kompetencjami menedżerskimi a kompetencjami organizacji. Zaproponowano również własne ujęcie perspektywy kompetencyjnej oraz przeprowadzono przegląd teorii zarządzania kompetencjami wyróżnionymi na poziomie organizacji.(abstrakt oryginalny)

Competences of managerial staff are the element of competences of organisation. Thanks to competences of managerial staff, knowledge of organisation is implemented into practical procedures of its operation. However, competences of managerial staff being a dynamic structure are constantly changing and developing, and in a situation when they are not improved or used - they are expiring causing disruptions in the functioning of the organisation. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to present theories which form the so-called competence-based perspective. These theories explain the role of competence in obtaining a competitive advantage by enterprises. They also contribute to acquire knowledge of the essence of competences of organisation and competences of managerial staff, explain relations between these categories and allow to understand the complexity of competence-based management problems. To achieve the objective, in the article are presented relations between competences of organisation and competences of managerial staff. There is also proposed own concept of competence perspective and there was conducted overview of competence-based management theories distinguished at the level of organisation.(original abstract)
