Abstrakty

Pod względem skumulowanej wartości bezpośrednich inwestycji zagranicznych na koniec roku 2007 Niemcy osiągnęły wartość 629 mld dolarów dla napływu BIZ (6. miejsce na świecie - 4,1-procentowy udział w tworzeniu skumulowanej wartości dla całego świata) oraz 1235 mld dolarów dla odpływu kapitału zagranicznego, co dało im 4. miejsce na świecie, po Stanach Zjednoczonych, Wielkiej Brytanii oraz Francji. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest próba oceny znaczenia gospodarki niemieckiej w kształtowaniu światowych przepływów kapitałowych na podstawie danych statystycznych dotyczących bezpośrednich inwestycji zagranicznych. Analizie poddane zostały wartości BIZ napływające do omawianej gospodarki oraz zobrazowana została skala zjawiska inwestowania za granicą firm niemieckich od początku lat 70. aż do końca roku 2007.(abstrakt oryginalny)

In terms of accumulated value of the foreign direct investments, in the end of 2007 Germany attracted USD 629 billion of the FDI (the 6th position in the world - 4.1% share in production of the accumulated value for the world) and generated FDI in value of USD 1,235 billion, which means the 4th position in the world, after the United States of America, Great Britain and France. The objective of this paper is to assess the German economy's meaning for the world-scale capital flows' shape on the grounds of statistical data regarding the foreign direct investments. Analysis covered the FDI values inflowing into the economy in question. Moreover, the paper presents the scale of foreign investments made by German companies from the beginning of the 1970s to the end of 2007.(original abstract)
