Abstrakty

Artykuł dotyczy oceny rozwoju rynków funduszy inwestycyjnych w takich krajach jak: Czechy, Polska, Słowacja i Węgry na przestrzeni lat 2007-2008. Wybrane do analizy kraje są pod wieloma względami do siebie podobne, charakteryzują się także podobną historią rozwoju rynków funduszy inwestycyjnych. Ponadto są to kraje zaliczane do Central East European Countries (CEEC) należących do rynków wschodzących (emerging marketS). W opracowaniu wzięto pod uwagę kwartalne wartości aktywów netto, zgromadzonych przez fundusze inwestycyjne i ich typy na poszczególnych rynkach, liczbę funduszy inwestycyjnych oraz miary - wartości aktywów netto funduszy inwestycyjnych na jednego mieszkańca, udziału aktywów netto funduszy UCITS w aktywach netto wszystkich funduszy (UCITS i non-UCITS), pozwalające na porównanie danych między sobą.(abstrakt oryginalny)

The article describes the development of investment fund markets in the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary from 2007 to 2008. The analysis focused on countries that are similar and have similar history of the investment fund markets development. Moreover, these are the countries of the emerging markets. The research took into consideration a quarterly net asset value of investment funds and their types, the number of funds, and some indicators such as net asset value of investment funds per capita, the share of net asset value of UCITS funds in the total net asset value, etc. The general results of the research showed that there were differences in investment preferences of funds participants in the above mentioned countries and that the crisis on capital markets had an impact on risk propensity of these participants.(original abstract)
