W niniejszym artykule omówiono mechanizmy dotychczasowego planowania gospodarki ZSRR oraz podstawowe kierunki przebudowy.

Against the background of the critical estimate of the extremely centralized managerial system, the directions of its remodelling have been characterized, acoording to the resolves made during the 27th Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. Attention has been drawn to the fact that the new model of managing stipulates for the formation of a self-controlling managerial system. Its principal elements are to be: self-management and self-financing of enterprises, production goods wholesale trade, prices that run not only according to cost but also to demand, and so on. It is also intended to change the role of the hitherto existing planning system.(original abstract)
