Gospodarka światowa doświadczyła w ciągu ostatnich 50 lat ogromnego wzrostu. Zwolennicy teorii wzrostu endogenicznego twierdzą, że było to efektem rewolucji technologicznej, która stworzyła nowy paradygmat wzrostu. Z tego powodu rewolucję technologii informacyjnych traktuje się jako jeden z istotnych sposobów na rozwiązanie problemów gospodarczych i społecznych dla krajów rozwijających się. Czy rzeczywiście rozwój sektora telekomunikacyjnego i informacyjnego w Chinach pociąga za sobą wzrost gospodarczy oraz rozwój społeczeństwa tego kraju? A może jest odwrotnie - może to jednak rozwój gospodarczy Chin jest przyczyną rozwoju sektora nowoczesnych technologii informacyjnych? (fragment tekstu)

The world economy has experienced over the past 50 years tremendous growth. Do this development of the telecommunication and IT sectors in China promote growth and the development of society in that country? Or maybe on the contrary China's economic development is the cause of development of modern information technology? In the past few years, the number of users of telecommunications services in China has increased. the number of mobile phone subscribers increased by over 100 % from 2003 to 2007. Chinese telecommunication legislation defines what is not allowed to do - much less informs about what is permitted. Another huge problem is the lack of transparenc in the process of obtaining a licence to operate.In addition, the telecommunication legislation does not follow the development of service market, also. However, taking into account the experience of other emerging markets, changes in this sector - like in other cases - seems to be inevitable. (original abstract)
