Francja, druga potęga atomowa po USA, dysponuje 19 elektrowniami atomowymi z 58 reaktorami. Rozlokowane są po całym kraju, zarządza nimi państwo. Autorzy omawiają ich pracę, korzyści z rozwoju energetyki jądrowej. Referują debatę specjalistów po awarii w Fukushimie na temat możliwości likwidacji energetyki atomowej we Francji. Przedstawiają stanowiska kandydatów w ostatnich wyborach prezydenckich i parlamentarnych oraz opinię społeczeństwa w tej sprawie. (abstrakt oryginalny)
France, ranking second to the US in terms of power energy, runs 19 nuclear plants with 58 reactors. Located all over France, they are managed by state authorities. The authors discuss the operation of nuclear plants and benefits of the development of power energy generation. They give an account of the specialists' debate after Fukushima nuclear disaster on possibilities of closing down nuclear plants in France. They present positions of candidates in the last presidential and parliamentary elections and public opinion on this matter. (original abstract)
