The article describes basic traits and conditions of the nationalization. Short analysis of the key differences between nationalization and related phenomena such as expropriation, confiscation and requisition is provided. Main points of view on the nationalization under international private law rules are announced and followed by the examples of the nationalization in different countries.(original abstract)
