Abstrakty
The purpose of this paper is to show an image of the most disadvantaged areas in Romania, identifying social exclusion indicators, economic and social causes which turned those regions into disadvantaged area as well as national legislation and policy together, with their consequences. The study starts from the research done by for disadvantaged areas such as Rosia Montana (s.a.) and Baia Mare, Borsa-Viseu and Rodna in the north of Romania (Ilovan 2006). (fragment of text)
