Abstrakty

W artykule podjęto próbę oceny, w jakim stopniu struktura wykorzystania środków unijnych w województwach Polski nawiązuje do dwóch podstawowych typów przestrzennej strategii alokacji funduszy UE, tj. modelu polaryzacyjnego lub wyrównawczego. Analizą objęto 16 regionalnych programów operacyjnych na lata 2007-2013. W badaniach przyjęto za płaszczyznę odniesienia układ centrum- -peryferie, wydzielając dla każdego z województw klasy peryferyjności gmin oraz wykreślając profile wykorzystania środków UE w obszarach o różnym stopniu peryferyjności. Analiza wykazała, że w większości województw rozkład przestrzenny wsparcia unijnego bliższy był modelowi polaryzacyjnemu.(abstrakt oryginalny)

This article seeks to assess how the use of European Union funds by Polish voivodeships reflects two basic types of strategy of EU fund allocation, i.e. a polarising and an equalising model. The analysis covered 16 Regional Operational Programmes for the years 2007-2013. The frame of reference adopted in the research was the centre-periphery system. For each voivodeship classes of commune peripherality were distinguished and profiles of use of EU funds were determined for areas differing in their level of peripherality. The analysis demonstrated that in most voivodeships the spatial distribution of the European Union's support was closer to the polarising model.(original abstract)
