The purpose of this exploratory qualitative study is to better understand the experience of emerging adulthood in Poland through the eyes of four professional women as they navigate the transition to independence in a rapidly changing sociocultural environment. Specifically, the goal of this study is to identify themes emerging from the unique experiences facing these women in order to derive insights relevant to marketers, service providers and others seeking to connect with and serve them now and as they transition to adulthood. Areas for future research and implications for the marketplace are discussed. (fragment of text)
