Niniejszy artykuł analizuje pewną, numeryczną metodę otrzymywania tablic dystrybuant zmiennych stabilnych. Przedstawia też tablice wartości dystrybuant stabilnych dla dziesięciu wartości wykładnika charakterystycznego i tablice kwantyli dla tych dystrybuant. (fragment tekstu)

This paper takes a few steps toward alleviating problems of data analysis that arise from the fact that elementary expression for density and cumulative distributions functions (c.d.f.'s) for most stable distributions are unknown. Results of Bergstrom [2] are used to develop numerical approximations of the c.d.f.'s of symmetric stable distributions. Tables of the c.d.f.'s and their inverse functions are presented for nine values of the characteristic exponent. (original abstract)
